Our Test Centre services

In our Test Laboratory we offer the determination of the following parameters for metals, polymers and fibre composites:

Measurement of glass transition temperature (Tg) e.g. by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) or dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA)
Thermal analysis to determine melting temperature and crystallisation temperature by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
Heat capacity through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
Reaction temperatures and times using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
Decomposition temperatures and stages by thermo–gravimetric analysis (TGA)
Thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity by hot-disk method
Thermal expansion coefficient by dilatometer measurements
Time- and temperature-dependent viscosities using plate-plate rheometer
Melt volume flow rate (MVR) by using a melt index tester
